‘Brahmastra’ is set to hit the theaters on September 9
The film will be released in around 8000 screens worldwide. Star Studios has confirmed that the film will release on 5000 screens in India while 3000 screens overseas. Along with this, it has become one of the largest release films in the Hindi language.
Talking about advance booking, if Brahmastra maintains this momentum till Thursday, then it can prove to be the biggest opening Bollywood film after the lockdown. According to the figures so far, the film will give an opening of up to 22 crores. The film has sold over 50,000 tickets across three national chains PVR, INOX, and Cinépolis. While the total number of tickets sold till yesterday has crossed 65,000.
Now it will be interesting to see how the on-ground booking of the film goes. Coming to the year 2022, Brahmastra will easily cross the pre-release collection of Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2 (6.60 crores). Not only this, but the film also has a chance to beat Akshay Kumar’s Sooryavanshi (9.25 crores).
According to the reports, till Sunday evening, the film has collected around 5 crores. While there are still 4 days left for the release of the film. There is no doubt that if people like the content of Brahmastra then it can break the chain of Bollywood flops.
