Vijay Deverakonda and Ananya Panday, who has talked a lot about Liger heading to a digital release of Liger movie on OTT? Not so, says the Southern Star. Vijay Deverakonda recently discovered a speculative report about Liger’s posting format and dismissed it in a tweet. The report stated that Liger creators are currently considering a ridiculous Rs 200 crore deal for a digital version and also for their satellite rights in all languages, hinting that Liger may debut on the OTT platform. Without saying much, Vijay Deverakonda explained things with these words: “Very little. I’ll do more in theaters.”

In February, the creators of Liger revealed that the film will open in theaters worldwide on September 9. Ananya Panday, who co-starred with Vijay, Deverakunda in the film wrote: “It arrives at a theater near you on September 9, 2021! It is not yet known if the film’s schedule has been delayed due to the second wave of the pandemic, as a release date has not been announced.

Directed by Puri Jagannath, Liger will be produced by Karan Johar’s Dharma Production, with Charmme Kaur. Liger’s Hindi release Vijay Deverakonda debuts in Bollywood. Ananya Pandey will make her debut in Telugu, Tamil, Kannada, and Malayalam cinema.
Speaking about Liger movie on OTT, Vijay Deverakonda had earlier told PTI that he had started shooting for his first Pan-India film with Puri Jagannath. This is a project that I had to go through a drastic physical transformation and I am working non-stop to pull the character out. I play the role of a fighter and for the role, I need to learn mixed martial arts.”
Deverakonda Vijay Sai (born 9 May 1989) is an Indian actor and producer who works mainly in Telugu language films. He made his debut in 2011 with Ravi Babu’s romantic comedy Nuvvila and was recognized for his supporting role in Yevade Subramanyam (2015). Deverakonda played the lead role in the 2016 romantic comedy Pelli Choopulu, which won the National Film Award for Best Feature Film in Telugu and the Filmfare Award for Best Film – Telugu.
Deverakonda made his debut with the romantic comedy Nuvvila (2011) directed by Romi Babu. He later appeared in a small role in Sekhar Kammula’s Life Is Beautiful. He was introduced to Nag Ashwin, who later cast him in a supporting role in the 2015 film Yevade Subramanyam with actor Nani. The film was produced by the daughters of Telugu film industry producer Ashwani Dutt; Priyanka Dutt accompanied him and as soon as the shooting started, Swapna Dutt signed him to her company.
He was the brand ambassador for the food delivery app Zomato. On February 11, 2020, Devarkonda launched its fashion brand Rowdy Wear on Mintra. Devarkonda says that whenever he did something, his family called him Rowdy, which they did not approve of. Over time, he began to use the term for himself and his fans.
