Just a month ago, it was rumored that Madhu Mantena was trying to turn a casting into Nitesh Tewari’s Ramayana 3D by combining Mahesh Babu, Hrithik Roshan, and Deepika Padukone. However, it has now come to our notice that the superstar Mahesh Babu Rejects Ramayana turned down Madhu’s offer to be a part of this epic and choose SS Rajamouli.
“Madhu and Nitesh are set to shoot Ramayana from the middle of 2022 and the dates coincide with the next one of SS Rajamouli, India’s biggest filmmaker. It was the obvious choice for Mahesh to choose Rajamouli over the Ramayana.

Many actors wanted to work with big superstars like Hrithik Roshan but Mahesh Babu which is also a big superstar of South Movies gives priority to SS Rajamouli.
While Hrithik is playing the role of Ravana in this epic, Deepika will be seen as Sita. The producers needed a yes from Mahesh Babu, however, Mahesh Babu Rejects Ramayana and he turned down the offer and they now looking for another actor to play the role of Lord Ram on screen. Before moving on to Ramayana, Hrithik will complete the shooting of Vikram Vedha, Night Manager (his digital debut), and Fighter. Deepika also has films like Pathan, Intern, and Fighter.
Meanwhile, SS Rajamouli’s next film after RRR is An African Jungle Adventure with Mahesh Babu, to be written by KV Vijayendra Prasad. The film will hit the floors sometime next year.
Mahesh Babu is the fourth of five children of Telugu actor Krishna and Indira after Ramesh Babu, Padmavati, and Manjula and before Priyadarshini. His family hails from Buripalem in the Guntur district of Andhra Pradesh. Babu spent most of his childhood in Madras caring for his grandmother Durgama and the rest of his family. Ramesh Babu took care of Mahesh Babu’s academic performance while Krishna was busy with his film commitments. Along with his siblings, Mahesh Babu played cricket regularly at VGP Golden Beach, Madras. To spend time with him, Krishna made sure that his films were shot during the weekend at the VGP Universal Kingdom.
Babu said in an interview that actor Vijay Chandrasekhar and he have been close friends for a long time and studied at the same college before establishing themselves in their respective film industries. Mahesh Babu was a student above average. He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Commerce from Loyola College, Chennai. After graduating, he met director L Satyananda in Visakhapatnam for further acting training, which lasted for three to four months. Unable to read and write Telugu, he remembered the dialogues given by his directors during the dubbing phase of his films.
