Ahead of the release of the Money Heist Season 5 trailer, the makers of the Netflix show released a teaser clip that gives us a glimpse of what’s next for the professor.
It’s not going to be easy The Professor in Money Heist 5. The makers of the crime drama released a teaser clip for the upcoming season on Monday, while also announcing that the official trailer of its season five will be released on August 2.
In the teaser clip of 30-second, we saw “The Professor” actor Álvaro Morte who is handcuffed with a chain, and the inspector Alicia Sierra played by Najwa Nimri. After seeing this, all our mastermind’s plans were thwarted by the police who stayed in front of the professor all the time.

The producers released the video on Instagram with the words “Checkmate”. Clearly, the two main characters have managed to bring each other down. But does it look like that, or is it something else in the story?

Money Heist Season 4 ended on a huge climb, where we saw Alicia trying to control the professor at his hiding place. This, after her department, became frustrated and the government tried to use her as a pawn to take full responsibility for Rio’s illegal detention and torture.
Rio’s independence became Sergio aka Professor’s sole intention to regroup his gang and teach the government a lesson.
Money Heist Season 5 will also mark the Netflix finale show. Money Heist Season 5’s first part will be released on September 3, while the other part will arrive on December 3.
The trailer for Money Hast Season 5 Part One was released on 2 August (Monday). In the nearly two-minute-long video, the gang and the professor show their weaknesses. While the gang is trying to prevent Nairobi’s death, Lisbon’s entry into the Bank of Spain serves as a catalyst. In Tokyo, there are probably several flashbacks with her boyfriend who were killed by the police, a Berlin backstory with Tatiana, and much more.

Sergio, on the other hand, is at the mercy of Professor Inspector Alicia Sierra. When we see Sergio being handcuffed, chained, and tortured, we know that whenever something goes wrong, our mastermind has a miraculous plan to survive. And we expect the same thing again.
Apart from Álvaro and Najwa, actors Úrsula Corberó, Miguel Herrán, Esther Acebo, Jaime Lorente , Itziar Ituño , Pedro Alonso and others will return to reprise their characters.
The official summary of the last chapter reads, “The gang has been locked up in the Bank of Spain for more than 100 hours. They managed to save Lisbon, but one of their darkest moments is missing. Professor Is captured by Sierra and for the first time, there are no escape plans.
