‘Coolie’ is coming back on the big screen. In the 80s, Amitabh Bachchan became famous as ‘Coolie’, then in the 90s, Govinda took the burden of ‘Coolie’ on his shoulders. Even Varun Dhawan has become a ‘Coolie’ on the big screen five years ago. Now South cinema is also going to get a ‘Coolie’, that too in the form of Rajinikanth.
After a long wait, the most anticipated film ‘Coolie’ of actor Rajinikanth, who has left a different mark in Hindi and South cinema, is finally ready to hit the big screen. The date of when the film ‘Coolie’, directed by Lokesh Kanagaraj, will be released in theaters has been decided and the fans have also been informed.
‘Coolie’ release date out
Even at the age of 74, Rajinikanth knows how to cast his charm on the big screen. After Vettaiyan and Jailer, the audience is eager to see him as ‘Coolie’. On April 4, the makers shared a powerful poster of Rajinikanth and announced the release date of ‘Coolie’. The legendary actor is seen whistling in the poster. This poster tells us that the pan-India action thriller film will be released in cinemas worldwide on August 14 this year.

There will be a clash with these films
Rajinikanth is going to hit the theatres on 14th August. On the same day, Hrithik Roshan and Jr NTR’s most-awaited film War 2 is also going to release on the big screen. After the first film was a superhit, the sequel is being eagerly awaited. Not only War 2, but Kajal Aggarwal’s film ‘The India Story’ (15th August) and Vivek Agnihotri’s film ‘The Delhi Files’ (15th August) are also going to release. Star cast of Coolie
Coolie is being made under the banner of Sun Pictures and is being directed by Lokesh Kanagaraj who has made films like Master, Leo and Vikram. The film stars Rajinikanth along with actors like Nagarjuna, Sivakarthikeyan, Shruti Haasan, Upendra Rao and Sathyaraj in lead roles.
