Hollywood is taking a temporary step in India’s cinematic space as theaters reopen in selected states. Warner Bros Pictures has announced plans to roll out its lineup, which includes Mortal Kombat, The Suicide Squad, and The Conjuring: The Devil Made Me Do It.
Hollywood Studios premiered Mortal Kombat (2021) in Kerala, Tamil Nadu, Andhra Pradesh, and Telangana on April 23 and plans to release the martial arts fantasy film in select cities on July 30.
The Writer and Director James Gunn’s anti-hero saga The Suicide Squad will be released on August 5 in some of the selected cities. DC Extended Universe stars Margot Robbie, Idris Alba, John Cena, Sylvester Stallone, and Viola Davis in the movie and is expected to open in the US on the same day.
Finally, Patrick Wilson and Vera Farmiga, starring as real-life paramedic investigators Ed and Lorraine Warren, the latest installment of the Dravidian Made Me Devil Do It, Conjuring Draw franchise, is set to be released in select cities on Friday, August 13th.
